The Annual Panhandle Showdown Competition entry is $15 for members and $55 non-members. Anyone with a membership of any kind is eligible for the member price. This includes unlimited climbing memberships, class memberships, or 30-Day memberships if they are valid the date of the competition.

WHAT CATEGORY AM I?

Youth categories are divided by age and gender.

Adult categories are age 14+ and are divided by skill level. Adult Finals will have Men’s and Women’s Categories. Please select the category for which grade you can, on average, flash.

SESSION DATE & TIMES

Male U11: January 17th @ 9-11am

Male 11-13: January 17th @ 1-3pm

Female U11: January 17th @ 9-11am

Female 11-13: January 17th @ 1-3pm

Adult Beginner (V0-V2): January 18th @ 12-2pm

Adult Intermediate (V3-5): January 18th @ 9-11am

Adult Advanced Men’s and Women’s (V6+): January 18th @ 12-2pm

FINALS FOR ADULT ADVANCED MEN & WOMEN ONLY: January 18th @ 4-6:30pm

COMPETITION FORMAT

Classic Redpoint BOULDERING ONLY: A climbers Top 5 climbs will count towards their score. Each climbing session will be 2 Hours! There will be finals for the Adult Advanced Men’s and Women’s categories top 6 finishers.

FINALS FORMAT

Finals will be in a rotational timed onsight format. Each rotation will be 4 minutes. Scoring will be as follows: 10 points for Zone and 25 points for Tops (-0.1 points for each attempt after the flash attempt).

SPECTATORS/CLIMBERS FROM PREVIOUS SESSIONS ARE WELCOME TO STICK AROUND FOR FINALS

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Please show up for your session 30 minutes prior to your climbing time to allow time for check-in and the rules/safety meeting.

Food will be available for sale during each session.
