Bring your training and preparation in the climbing gym outside to real rock! All climbing will be done on a top rope setup. If you will need any gear (Harness, shoes, or Helmet), we will provide that for you. Should any adverse weather force us to cancel the event, we will reschedule for the soonest weekend day we have available after the scheduled date.

When: October 10th 9am-2pm

Where: Buzzard Rocks, Front Royal, VA

Who: All ages and skill levels can participate! Outdoor climbing is for everyone!

Cost: Members: $30/person (this includes class members) Non-Members: $55/person

Address: Buzzard Rock Trail, Warren County Virginia

We will meet at the Buzzard Rock Trail parking lot at 9am. It is roughly a 3.5 mile roundtrip hike, hence the additional time of one hour allotted for this meetup.

Buzzard Rock is all slab climbing, with lots of relatively easy routes 5.5 - 5.9. This meetup will be very beginner friendly.
