Bring your training and preparation in the climbing gym outside to real rock! All climbing will be done on a top rope setup. If you will need any gear (Harness, shoes, or Helmet), we will provide that for you. Should any adverse weather force us to cancel the event, we will reschedule for the soonest weekend day we have available after the scheduled date.

Where: Elizabeth Furnace, Front Royal, VA

Cost: Members: $20/person (this includes class members) Non-Members: $40/person

Directions: Coming from Martinsburg, take I-81 South. Take VA Exit 298, and turn and turn left onto Route 11 South towards Strasburg. In 2 miles turn left onto E King Street. In 5.1 miles, turn right onto Fort Valley Rd. In 2 miles, the pull-off area is right aloing the road on the right-hand side of the road.

PLEASE DO NOT TYPE IN THE ADDRESS ON THE PIN ON THE MAP. Drop your own pin at that location and drive to there. If you type in the address it will not take you to the correct place, and service in that area is not good once you get into the valley.

We will meet at the parking area at 9am, and it is only a ¼ mile walk to the climbing area.
